A Cowboy’s Halo

Memorial Fund In Honor of Jace Layman

Dream it.

Jace lived his dreams on borrowed horses, an old truck and trailer, and gear he’d traded and gathered along the way. He made it happen any way he could, with a limited budget and unlimited dreams. A Cowboy’s Halo was founded to support young folks in Jace’s position that want to build a life in the western world, and may not have the financial resources necessary to make it happen.

We have decided to do our part by creating a scholarship that can be applied directly to costs such as leather working/saddle making classes, farrier school, agricultural business classes, or even simpler things such as money to help purchase equipment or horses for a cowboying job. More information regarding this can be found here.

Pay It Forward.

The efforts we put into this memorial will all go towards helping the next generation of young people who are passionate about contributing to agriculture and western heritage. We are doing our part in hopes to make a difference in young lives by providing resources and scholarships otherwise unavailable to them.

We encourage other folks if they can, to do the same. If you have an opportunity to mentor the next generation and give them a step up into the industry we all love and value, we hope you do.

If you would like to help but are unsure where to start, you can find our contact information below. Please reach out and let’s find ways together to pay it forward.
